Data we process
When you create an account, we process your email address and username. If you use cloud sync, we also process the links, saved-item metadata, categories, preview URLs, and visibility settings that you choose to save. Items saved only on your device remain on that device and are not uploaded by Sylego.
Why we process data
We process this information to create and secure your account, provide cloud synchronisation, display your saved content, make a folder available through its public link when you choose to publish it, respond to support or removal requests, and keep the service secure. The legal basis is performance of our agreement with you and, where necessary, our legitimate interest in operating a safe service.
Public folders
Folders are private by default. A folder you mark public is available to anyone with its link and may be forwarded by them. Do not add personal, confidential, illegal, non-consensual, or copyrighted material unless you have the right to share it. You can make a folder private or delete it at any time.
Service providers
We use Supabase to provide authentication and cloud database services, and Vercel to host the web application. These providers process data on our behalf as needed to deliver the service. If you submit an in-app content report, the report details, the relevant folder link, and account information needed to identify the report are sent to Aealo Software's support system so we can review it. Previews may request resources from the website hosting the link you saved.
Retention and deletion
We keep account and synced content data while your account remains active. You can delete your account from the app settings; this removes your account and its cloud data, subject to any limited retention required for security, legal obligations, or handling an unresolved report.
Your rights and contact
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of your personal data, or object to certain processing. For privacy questions, account deletion assistance, or removal requests, contact a.calotychos@aealo.it.
Security
We use access controls designed to limit cloud data to the relevant account. No internet service can guarantee absolute security; keep your account credentials private and avoid publishing sensitive content.
Cookies and local storage
Sylego does not use advertising, marketing, or analytics cookies. The web app may use strictly necessary browser storage to keep an authenticated session and local saved items working. This storage is necessary for the service and does not require a consent banner.
Changes
We may update this policy when the service or legal requirements change. We will publish the updated version on this page and change the date above.
